Name: Charles Ellis

Where I live: Marion, Iowa, USA

What I do: I run and operate a Facebook group that supplies group members’ weekly tips on how reduce carbon emissions. I am a student that is currently going to college to major to be a graphic communications specialist (I want to do something along the lines of advertisement or logos).

What I’ll be talking about on GGG: I will be mostly talking about tips on how to save money on water, gas, and electric bills, what items or what to look for in the packaging of an item when shopping, finding uses for old and used items, and many other ways to reduce your carbon emission.

What inspires me: My inspiration comes from the people in history to today that have stand up against something or someone and have changed a town, city or the world. Movies based on a true story also inspire me to take something that I learned from that movie and apply it to my daily life.

Who I look up to and respect: I look up those that accept me for staying with me for what actions I taken and what I’ve said to them and I respect them back for that. I respect anyone who wants to make a difference in this world, anyone that has an honest opinion and will take anything negative without feeling bad for other opinions.

What I want for the future: I want to have a better environment for me and future generations to come to have an even better environment than what we have now. In the future I want to have a majority of people riding bikes, walking, using energy efficient cars that run on electricity, solar, bio-diesel or any other renewable energy source that scientists can come up with.

One last thing: keep your own ideals and beliefs to your self and don’t steal or copy someone else’s. You are unique just as you are if you just be yourself. Always think to your self as the first of its kind and the last of its breed.

The mind is a powerful thing to waste. I have believed this for years and I have come to the conclusion that compared to everyone else I have seen how I am unique from the smallest things to the biggest things.
