		<description>The one thing to remember when recycling your old IT is to remove any data from the computer/ laptop.  Never leave your personal data on the hard drive.

Don&#039;t go donating old computers to charities though.  Kit that is over 10 years old won&#039;t be welcome.  Countries that operate the WEEE directive will probably charge for disposal of hazardous waste and you could be costing charities money if you give them old CRT monitors.
